Complete all data fields or enter "NA". When finished, click the "Send Now" button. You will be prompted if a field is a blank or incorrect. This does not automatically post your event to the calendar; rather it sends the information to our office via email. The request is then reviewed to determine whether it qualifies for inclusion. We will do our best to add all qualifying events to online calendar as soon as possible.

Event Addition Criteria

For an event to qualify for addition to our calendar, it must generally meet the following critera: the event must occur within Anne Arundel County or close proximity thereto, must be of interest to the community at large, and cannot be a substitute for paid print advertising for a business. Events which relate to the arts, which benefit local non-profit groups, or which provide information on topics vital to individuals and the community will be given preference for inclusion. All events which may not meet these criteria will be added at the discretion of the publisher. We will do our best to make sure that all qualifying events brought to our attention are added to the calendar as soon as possible. Events which are added to the web calendar are not guaranteed placement in the print edition, due to space and time considerations.

To qualify for inclusion in the print edition, we must receive your information by the following deadlines: February 15 (for publication in the April/May issue); April 15 (for publication in the June/July issue); June 15 (for publication in the August/September issue); August 15 (for publication in the October/November issue); October 15 (for publication in the December/January issue) and December 15 (for publication in the February/March issue). Inclusion in the online calendar is not a guarantee of inclusion in the print edition due to space and time constraints.
