Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Hoy me voy el supermercado.  (Today I go to the supermarket.)  But when you want to go tomorrow you would replace hoy with mañana for tomorrow.  If you went yesterday you would say: Ayer (yesterday) me fuí el supermercado.

El supermercado (supermarket) is a very busy place in Spanish countries.  They are large markets, not like the grocery stores that we are accustomed to, filled with people selling vegetables, fruits, animals, herbs and any kind of meat that you could want.

At some markets la ropa (clothes), los zapatos (shoes) and all sorts of home decorations can be found.  Many of the items that are sold are from small local farmers and artists.  If you want an adventure, visit a Spanish market.

Last time we asked, "How many past issues of Inside Annapolis Magazine do you have? " Out of all the responses, we found that most of our readers keep at least 3 issues of Inside Annapolis Magazine around the house, but a couple of our readers have over several years of issues! We're glad to hear that so many of you stay with us!

Thanks to all those that voted!
